...Indi Oktoberfest - a beer lovers dream!
Fact for the beer guru...The first Oktoberfest was held in 1810 in honor of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig's marriage to Princess Therese von Sachsen Hildburghausen... now there's a mouth full! The festivities began on October 12, 1810 and ended on October 17. In the following years, the celebrations were repeated and, later, prolonged and even moved forward into September...Those Germans love to party!
